Cool Sounds Heating Up Lancaster City Nightlife At The 2015 Roots & Blues Festival

February 6 and 7 bring a musical feast to Lancaster. The
2015 Lancaster Roots & Blues Festival

offers the opportunity to see performances by featured artists from across the
United States and beyond our nation’s borders.

This year, the festival will present over 50 artists at
eight venues with ten stages. And they’re all within just a few blocks of each
other. Among the venues for the 2015 music festival are The Ware Center,
the Convention Center at the Marriott, Tellus 360, Chameleon Club, The Federal Taphouse, Lancaster Dispensing Company, The Trust Performing Arts Center, and the
historic Elks Lodge.
While all locations are within easy walking distance of each
other, folks can ride from performance to performance via a bus that will
travel between venues.
All the action will take place just 15 miles from the Historic Smithton Inn, so I’m telling all my
music-loving guests about it. This festival is a “must,” whether you prefer
jazz and blues or polka and reggae. It brings an array of talented musicians
from a spectrum of genres including folk, r&b, jazz, roots
reggae, funk, rock ‘n roll, and more.
