Beer Tasting in Lancaster PA

Breweries and beer connoisseurs of all sorts are gathering at the Mount Hope Estate & Winery for the seventh annual BrewFest at Mount Hope on Saturday, May 9, 2015.

 

Tickets are $50 at the gate, but you can order them online
in advance for only $45 a person. Designated drivers pay $30 at the gate or $25
online. Each ticket is good for one admission to one of the two
four-hour sessions (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) filled
with music, merchant presentations, beer samples (for non-designated drivers),
and food.

Breweries from around the country are getting together at
one spot to offer samples of their alcoholic beverages, from beers to hard
ciders. Below is a list of a few breweries that will be present at this year’s
BrewFest at Mount Hope.

Sample A Blend Of Music Genres

Live entertainment at the BrewFest at Mount Hope this year
includes a catchy mix of music from various backgrounds. Musicians are bringing
soul, rock and roll, bluegrass, and blues to the grounds at Mount Hope Estate.

Participate In The BrewFest Raffle

Each year, BrewFest holds a raffle with proceeds going to
the Central PA Food Bank. Prizes include everything from beer and gift cards to
merchandise and more.

Homebrew Competition

Do you brew your own beer? BrewFest also hosts a homebrew
competition. See thewebsite for specifics on entry deadlines, rules, and the location.
*Please note that this event is strictly for adults 21
years of age and older. No children are permitted on the grounds during this event.
