Cure Cabin Fever At The Spring Antique Extravaganza 2015

Spring has
sprung, and Adamstown is getting ready for its Spring Antique Extravaganza, a

Antique Typewriter

four-day event where specialty and antique shops of Lancaster County get
together to display their treasures for locals and tourists. The event takes
place three times a year—April, June, and September—but you won’t want to miss
this first opportunity of the year to get great bargains.

The Antique
Extravaganza is more than just a small gathering of knickknacks. It is a
seven-mile stretch of antique shops and dealers, both inside and outdoors.
Something so big can’t take just one day to peruse. That’s why the Spring
Antique Extravaganza runs from Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25.
If you’re from out of town, the Historic Smithton Inn is only about 20 minutes
from the event. Why stay anywhere else?
Here are
just a few of the venues and dealers you can expect to find at the Spring
Antique Extravaganza this year:
Many of the
shops are open year-round, but dealers and venues often list their wares at
special prices and offer extended hours for this event. If you are all about
antiquing, you should take advantage of the Spring Antique Extravaganza, and
book your stay at the Historic Smithton Inn. We are happy to have you.
