Kreider Farms Facilities

Kreider Farms is a modernized, original homestead that was established in 1736. It’s a landmark you don’t want to miss when exploring the beautiful Lancaster landscape. The farm has been owned by the same family since the beginning and is now run by Ron Kreider, a direct descendant of that long line.

 

Kreider Farms has several facilities you can visit. There’s a dairy farm where more than 1,700 cows produce milk every day, a milk processing plant where all the products are bottled and boxed, and a farm shop at the heart of all farming operations.

What You See During the Kreider Farms Tour

Kreider Farms produces fresh eggs, milk, ice cream, and even some home gardening products! Going on a Kreider Farms tour is an incredible opportunity to discover the world of modern farming, as well as spending a fun day with the ones you love. Here is what you will see during your 90-minute tour:

• An interactive video and introduction at the welcome center
• A motorcoach tour of the cow palace and the maternity barn (you might even see a little cow being born!)
• The milking Merry-Go-Round carousel
• The Silo observation tower with a breathtaking view of all the farmland

Tours run Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required so make arrangements before your visit!
