If you’re on a quest to find top products in the Lancaster area, then Lapp Valley Farm is a stop you must make. Amish farmer Dave Lapp and his family raise more than 70 Jersey cows and harvest their delicious milk. The family is a part of the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish of Lancaster, one of America’s oldest Amish settlements.
At Lapp Valley Farm, you’ll experience a simpler way of life. Here, the days slow down, and visitors are invited to travel back in time. You’ll be greeted by friendly cats and peacocks, and you might even get the chance to see the cows being milked! You can also pet the baby calves as they bottle-feed.
Note: You can find the Lapp Valley Farm at 244 Mentzer Road in New Holland, PA. Visit their booth at the Green Dragon Farmers Market every Friday, or catch them at Kitchen Kettle Village during the summer months.
This dairy farm is one of the most popular destinations for ice cream, and when you taste it, you’ll understand why! The creamy texture and homemade waffle cones are a hit with locals and tourists alike. Both the milk and butter from Lapp Valley Farm are hormone-free, and you can purchase both the milk and butter from Lapp Valley Farm. We highly recommend trying the black cherry ice cream and the chocolate milk flavor. It’s very thick, but oh so delicious!
