Lancaster Light Shows

December 2, 2013

While not everyone enjoys the brisker weather that comes with the Christmas season, there’s one thing I think we can all appreciate: the warm glow and radiance of holiday lights. Lancaster County offers some breathtaking light displays and exhibits to heighten your holiday spirit.

Here are a few of my favorite Lancaster County holiday light shows and displays:

Gift of Lights at Elizabeth Farms – 262 Hopeland Road, Lititz, PA. Just 15 min from downtown Ephrata!

November 29 through January 1
5 – 9 p.m.

The spirit of the season couldn’t be brighter as you drive through this 1 mile light display with hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights. See their website for admission rates.

Hershey Sweet Lights – Between Route 39 and Sand Beach Road (approx. ½ mile from Hershey Park and only 45 minutes away from our B&B)
See their calendar for dates and hours of operation.

This holiday drive-thru takes you into a winter wonderland you’ll never forget. As you travel through two miles of wooded trails, you’ll experience the brilliance of nearly 600 illuminated, animated displays from the comfort of your car.

National Christmas Center – 3427 Lincoln Highway, Paradise, PA 17562 (Only a little more than 30 min from Ephrata)

See their website for hours of operation

Treat yourself to a holiday stroll through 20,000 square feet of indoor holiday exhibits that feature both the secular and religious aspects of the season.
