Best of the Best Mini Golf in Lancaster
Anyone who’s a connoisseur of putt putt golf venues is going to be FLOORED by the mini golf courses we’ve dubbed the “best of the best”! These courses are next-level miniature golf. They include natural terrain that’s diverse and interesting, creeks, waterfalls, streams, gorgeous landscaping, challenging holes and amazing views. There’s nothing “kitchy” about these Lancaster mini golf clubs, they’re 100% seriously cool! At these courses, you’ll wonder if the botanical garden designer took a wrong turn and ended up at a mini golf course & just went to work anyway!!
#1: Village Greens Miniature Golf and Snack Shoppe | 1444 Village Rd, Strasburg | Website
The Village Greens Golf Club is hands-down our favorite mini golf course EVER. Their location is in the heart of “Amish Country”, but it’s off the beaten track. There are two courses set on 13 acres of wooded countryside. The Orange Course has 18 holes (45 min play time) and is the more traditional of the courses. The Gold Course has 23 holes (1.5 hours play time) is challenging and showcases natural obstacles throughout including babbling brooks, waterfalls and mature trees. No matter which course you choose at the Village Green Golf Club, you’ll be wow’d by the wonderful setting.
#2: The Shack Restaurant & Mini Golf | 662 S Oak St, Manheim | Website
This is one of the most challenging and long (in a good way) mini golf courses you’ll ever play. The course is in a park-like setting, surrounded by trees and inhabited by plenty of cute little woodland creatures. After your round of golf, stay for lunch or dinner in The Shack, where you can enjoy delicious burgers, cheese steaks, fries etc… and ICE CREAM!
#3 Waters Edge Mini Golf | 230 N Ronks Rd, Bird in Hand | Website
Waters Edge Mini Golf is in the heart of Amish attractions in Bird and Hand, PA. The course is surrounded by Amish farmland and even has a petting zoo across the street. There are two courses to choose from at Waters Edge Miniature Golf: the Boat Course and the Nature Course. Both are fun, well shaded and offer interesting/challenging obstacles. The fish-stocked-lake at the center of the courses is a nice touch.
More Great PA Miniature Golf Venues
Not to be overshadowed by our “top picks”, #4-7 in this collection of mini golf courses in PA are still really solid options. The course designers put great thought into creating interesting, challenging holes with fun obstacles and excellent atmosphere. If you’ve already got some other activity planned near one of these putt putt golf courses, don’t hesitate to play a round to make a full day of it!
#4: Boulders Miniature Golf Mountville | 312 Primrose Ln, Mountville | Website
As you can imagine by the name, there are lots of boulders defining the space at this mini golf course. Along with boulders you’ll find streams, ponds, waterfalls and 7 footbridges you cross over as you navigate the 19 hole course. Definitely plan to reward yourself to a delicious scoop of ice cream at Scoops Ice Cream & Grill when you’ve finished up your mini golf outing.
#5: Pelvo’s Putt Putt (Overlook Falls Mini Golf) | 605 Granite Run Dr, Lancaster | Website
Remarkably, this putt putt golf course is open YEAR ROUND!! (Note: they don’t do snow removal and water features may be turned off during winter months). The course has 18 holes. When you arrive, head over to the Stoner Grill where you’ll pay for your round of mini-golf. When you’ve finished playing this beautifully landscaped miniature golf course, grab a bite to eat at the Stoner Grill, a full service restaurant with great outdoor patio.
#6: Lost Treasure Golf | 2521 E Lincoln Hwy, Ronks, PA| Website
Lost Treasure is a chain of mini golf courses (10) located in tourist destinations up and down the east coast. There are two fun 18 hole courses where you will travel through caves and volcanoes, over waterfalls, and around cliffs as you search for Professor Hacker’s “Lost Treasure”. In addition there’s a maze you can navigate for some extra adventure. Lost Treasure Mini Golf is conveniently located along Route 30 in the heart of Amish tourist attractions. If you find yourself in the area, it’s definitely worth playing a round.
#7: Mt. Gretna Miniature Golf | PA-117, Mt Gretna | Website
Mount Gretna Mini Golf is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. While this course isn’t nearly as well-kept as Village Greens, every hole is difficult and creative, making it super-fun for putt putt golfers. Rather than grumbling about the TLC needed to bring this course back to its full potential, we hope you’ll enjoy the true, deep down beauty of the course and Mount Gretna in general (ie: Jigger Shop, the Hideaway, the Lake, you get the idea!).
