What Makes Stoudts Brewery So Great?
It’s a Brewery and Restaurant
If you’re a beer lover, you won’t be disappointed with Stoudts selection. The brewery features a variety of flagship beers, like pils (a traditional German-style pilsner), American pale ale, the Fourplay IPA, and our favorite, the Scarlet Lady Ale. Its reddish-copper color is mesmerizing! The menu also includes seasonal beers, like Karnival Kolsch, Blonde Double Maibock, Hefe, and Oktoberfest. If you want to try something unique, try the Smooth Hoperator. This full-bodied lager is rich, malty, and hoppy, all at the same time!
Stoudts also offers a top-notch restaurant. Everything on the menu is made from scratch with local ingredients, so you’re sure to eat fresh. Treat yourself to one of their hand-trimmed steaks, or snack on delicious homemade bread and a selection of cheese! The dinner menu also includes a wide range of soups, sandwiches, salads, and chef’s specials.
Note: The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday through Saturday from 12 to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 12 to 8 p.m. We highly recommend making a reservation!
Stoudts Has a Market and Antiques
Once your belly is full, hop off your barstool and discover other treasures that lie within Stoudts walls. You can roam through the aisles of the market and purchase the fresh, local ingredients you enjoyed during your meal. Bring home cookies, bread, cheese, and a variety of traditional Dutch treats. This is a great way to incorporate Pennsylvania’s culture into your trip and makes for a great gift! Stoudt’s Market is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Stoudts doesn’t offer just food and drink. Indeed, you can find some of the best antiques here! Tower Antiques Showcases and Furniture Gallery are open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you want to see the Stoudts Black Angus Antique Mall, you’ll have to come on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
