Discover the Flavors of PA at Taste of Lititz

What Is the Taste of Lititz?

Lititz is a quaint Pennsylvania town that you need to visit when you’re in the area. Did you know, for example, that it’s one of America’s oldest towns? It was founded in 1756 by German settlers who brought their delicious cooking traditions to the United States, which contributed to our culinary culture and heritage.

To celebrate this heritage, the streets of Lititz close down every June to welcome the Taste of Lititz. This fun event gives locals and visitors the chance to discover creations from local restaurants, live music entertainment, and all sorts of activities.

Prepare For Your Visit

The event takes place in downtown Lititz from 5 to 9 p.m. During the day, Main Street and Church Avenue close off to everyone except the food vendors and visitors. An adult ticket costs $5, children age 4 to 12 are $2, and children age 3 and under are free. A ticket grants you access to 30 restaurants booths and food-related stands, as well as adult beverages from local breweries, wineries, and distilleries.

Did you know? All profits from Taste of Lititz go to local charities and non-profit organizations in the community. So, not only are you enjoying a fun cultural event, you’re helping to preserve this historical town and its people!

Other Lititz Food Events

If you are visiting Lititz in May, you cannot miss Pretzel Fest. The first pretzel factory opened in this town in 1861, which makes pretzels one of the most historical food items in the region! Celebrate the long tradition of pretzel making at this fun event and taste some of the best pretzels you’ve ever had in your life.
