UnCork York – Tour de Tanks

Time sure does fly!  It's March already and that means it's time for one of our favorites area Wine Events:  UnCork York!!  The tour takes place every weekend in March, and for just $25, you can attend wine tastings at 13 participating vineyards.  Celebrate the arrival of new vintages with special tank and barrel tastings to preview the season’s upcoming wines before they are bottled.  Meet UnCork York winemakers as they share an inside look at the winemaking process. Along the way you’ll enjoy delicious treats and great company!

One ticket is good for all event weekends and includes a souvenir wine glass.  Since each of the participating wineries sell tickets, it's the easiest way to get yours.  Click here for a link to the participating wineries.

While you're touring wineries, there is one local personal favorite of the Smithton's that's NOT on this year's tour.  Waltz Vineyards in Manheim should definitely be included on the list of vineyards to check out, whether you're coming for UnCork York or just a tour of the area.  And the good news is that Waltz isn't far out of your way when driving from the Smithton Inn to the majority of the participating UnCork York vineyards.
