Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery

You’ll love sipping on the Waltz’s award-winning wines in the European-inspired tasting room. If you fall in love with Waltz Vineyards after your visit, join the wine club!
The Vineyard at Grandview
The Vineyard at Grandview has humble origins, starting with the owner making wine on a small scale as a hobby. Quickly, Larry Kennel began learning about the art and science of winemaking before finally opening this wonderful vineyard! You won’t want to miss a visit to this tasting room, just a little over 30 minutes from Historic Smithton Inn. And just like Waltz, the Vineyard at Grandview also has a wine club!
Located in Bainbridge, PA, Nissley Vineyards is a family-owned company that’s been in operation since the mid-1970s. The owner, J. Richard Nissley, opened this vineyard with his son despite naysayers claiming that only California or France could produce palatable wine. The Nissley family proved them wrong and the vineyard thrived. Today, the business is still run by a Nissley and grows 14 varieties of grapes on 40 acres of vines. Take the self-guided tour when you visit and follow it with a tasting of their many and varied wines.
Moon Dancer Vineyards & Winery
This unique winery, which overlooks the beautiful Susquehanna River, offers premium European-style dry wines as well as select Pennsylvania sweet wines. The owners of Moon Dancer Winery, Cider House, & Tap Room are passionate about music and often host concerts at the winery. You’ll enjoy listening to local and international musicians while sipping on a glass of one of the many delicious wines available.
Weathered Vineyards Wine Tasting Room
One of the best places to taste wine is the Weathered Vineyards Wine Tasting Room at Historic Smithton Inn! This is the first wine-tasting venue to the Ephrata area and features 11 varieties of wines. These wines range from sweet to dry, with red and white varieties. The soil found at Weathered Vineyard is remarkably similar to the soil of Bordeaux, France. This creates a fruit that is rich in color and flavor density. For those who prefer beer, we also offer a range of craft beers, as well as craft sodas for the non-drinkers.
