About the Wine Bar & Food Service
The Susquehana Style Award Winning (2023 â 2025) Weathered Vineyards Ephrata Wine Bar is open to the public every Wednesday, Friday â Sunday, and by special request / arrangement for overnight guests. The wine hosts live music Saturday evenings until 8 pm. Additionally we host the occasional wine pairing or crafting event on Sunday afternoons. We have a delicious menu which includes homemade baked meatballs and charcuterie boards as well. Also, a new addition for 2025 is a brand-new brick pizza oven!

A Wine Tasting Room Right Down the Stairs!
When you stay at the Historic Smithton Inn, one of the best wine bars in the region, is right down the stairs from you. After a long day exploring the historic sites around Lancaster, come home to your cozy room, rest, maybe take a hot shower, and enjoy a delicious glass of your favorite wine before you go out for dinner⊠or eat a light dinner right here on-site. Currently, the wine bar is open on Wednesdays and Fridays through Sundays; our goal is to have it open each night of the week. Stay tuned!!! If youâre celebrating an anniversary or simply wish to surprise your significant other, you can also have a bottle delivered to your room along with champagne and chocolates!!

About the Wines
Weathered Vineyards offers more than 10 varieties of wine, ranging from sweet to dry, leaning more toward the âdry-sideâ. No matter what your preference, thereâs a Weathered Vineyard wine for you! Learn more about each as you sip, select your favorite, and take a bottle home with you! We even have a Slushy Machine we use during the summer months to make delicious frozen wine drinks.
Not a wine drinker? Thatâs ok, we offer a variety of craft beers, soda & mixed drinks made with craft spirits from local distillers.
We found this inn on our route home from the south, and what a special treat! This Inn was built in the 1700's and had such beauty and charm. The bed was so lovely, the room very clean, and there was a sweet fireplace that we used with provided wood. So lovely on a bitter cold winters night. The breakfast was delicious and it was nice chatting with the owner. Highly recommend staying here!
