Lancaster Fall Festivals

September 24, 2012

Lancaster County is home to many historic sites and museums, and three favorites are hosting festivals during October that are sure to provide a good time for the family while, allowing you to  experience history and colonial life as well.

Apple Dumpling Days at the Ephrata Cloister:  Traditional PA Dutch Apple Dumplings and Octoberfest Soup are available for purchase to either eat on-site or take home to eat later.  On Saturday only there is a full food tent with additional treats including hot dogs, sauerkraut and chili (both vegetarian and regular) .  This is a delicious tradition that helps fund the purchase of Cloister artifacts for return to the museum site.
October 5 - 6, from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
