crafters of all varieties who spend all year

creating inventories of
exceptional works. This summer, plan ahead and schedule some time to take in
some of the area’s most popular arts and crafts shows. There’s something for
everyone at these events so bring your friends and family with you to experience them.

38th Annual Lititz
Rotary Craft Show
Saturday, August 8, 2015
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Rain or shine
The Lititz Rotary Craft Show is one of the most noteworthy
craft extravaganzas on the east coast. Held along seven blocks between Main
Street and Broad Street and spilling into Lititz Springs Park, you’ll need
every second to take in the unique creations from 700 vendors across the United
States and even from Canada. And it’s only, at most, a mere 20 minutes from the
Historic Smithton Inn. For

41st Annual Mount
Gretna Outdoor Art Show

Mount Gretna is a quaint slice of the best Lancaster County
has to offer. The Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show serves also as a community
fundraiser, with all proceeds benefitting projects around the community. Enjoy
food and art of all sorts, ranging from photography to sculpting and more by
local Lancaster artists as well as talents from across the country, such as New
Mexico and Oklahoma. They all come together to create an unforgettable event with
approximately 260 vendors. Check out Mount Gretna’s art show website to view participating vendors and
examples of what types of original art to expect. Held under the tall oak trees
of Chautauqua, the event is located between Route 117 and Pennsylvania Avenue.
37th Annual Long’s
Park Art & Craft Festival
Friday and Saturday, September 4 and 5, 2015 (10:00 a.m. –

On the outskirts of historic downtown Lancaster, this Labor Day weekend event
is always an unforgettable time as one of America’s top 50 fine art and craft
shows. Enjoy the beauty of one of the most popular parks in Lancaster County
while taking in the talent of more than 200 artists and crafters from over 30
states across the country. All proceeds benefit the annual Long’s Park Summer Music Series, free concerts that take place in the park throughout the season. Long’s
Park is only half an hour drive from the Historic Smithton Inn.
Ephrata Merchant’s
42nd Annual Arts, Crafts And Restaurant Fair
Saturday, September 12, 2015 (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
Rain or Shine
Experience the deliciousness of locally grown produce and
fresh food products made by the vendors themselves, and admire handmade crafts
and artwork. With over 200 vendors, this event in Ephrata spans along Downtown Square, East and West Main
Streets, and North and South State Streets. It's sure to inspire your inner
artist. This annual event is less than five minutes from our inn, so why
wouldn’t you take the opportunity to discover our local talent?
Enjoy the closing of your summer at one or more of these
