Located right across the street from the Strasburg Rail Road, you might be lulled into thinking you should skip this attraction because it’s a children’s activity. I’m here to emphatically tell you that you couldn’t be more wrong!! While children are definitely going to enjoy a visit to the Choo Choo Barn, it is NOT a ‘baby-place’. Did you know that portions of the Thomas the Train movie were filmed in Strasburg, PA?! Its a special treat for children both young and young at heart to visit Strasburg during one of the Thomas the Train events hosted at the Strasburg Railroad. The Special Event happens two times a year, from late April to Mid June and then again in September.
Separate photo opportunities with THOMAS, RUSTY, and MAVIS (select days) are even available! Other activities include a visit with Sir Topham Hatt, play pods, a dance party, and more!
