Our Vacation Rental / Vacation Home is available for short term (2-night minimum) and long term stays. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Children are permitted.
Our PA Dutch Country Friendly Vacation Rental is Pet Friendly: Unlike hotels, the Smithton Guest House Vacation Home has a fenced in back yard, making it ideal for families traveling with pets (extra charges apply). There are also two nearby community parks and a lovely rail trail if you'd like to take your dog for walks during your trip.
While we do not have a pool on the property, guests can walk around the corner to swim in the Ephrata Rec Center's indoor swimming pool for just $10/day.
Although this Lancaster Vacation Rental is connected to the Historic Smithton Inn, it is a stand-alone property and not part of the B&B. We supply our Guest House guests with ingredients to make breakfast (eggs, bacon, English muffins, sweet breads) for your first day or however long they last. Contact the innkeepers to see if it possible to join the B&B guests for breakfast (for an additional fee),

What to expect in our Amish Country Vacation Home
People love our two bedroom, 1.5 bath romantic Lancaster vacation home. The master bedroom is a King Suite and the second bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed. The cottage has a private entrance, full kitchen, living room, dining room, sunroom and fenced in back yard with patio & BBQ grill. The kitchen is even stocked with supplies to make your first breakfast (eggs, bacon, bread, milk, and juice).
Perfect Vacation Rental for your Lancaster Family Getaway
With a working fireplace in the living room, guests can enjoy a romantic retreat after the kids have been put to bed! The living room also has a 50” flat screen SMART TV, and both guestrooms have large SMART TVs as well. The spacious lawn is great for a family game of corn hole or simply having a family BBQ dinner.

A: Lancaster City is about 12 miles from us, so it's an easy drive to Lancaster Station, Lancaster Central Market, Art Galleries and other downtown tourist attractions. It's your choice whether to take the highway or travel our lovely country roads instead.

A: Lancaster County's probably best known for our Amish neighbors (thus the reason we're called Amish Country!). While you're here there are fun ways for you to learn about Amish Culture and meet Amish people. You can take a buggy ride, visit an Amish farm, take an Amish tour, visit the Village of Intercourse and the quaint shops of Kitchen Kettle Village.
